Independent Delivery Model
LocalBikri does not operate an in-house logistics fleet and does not employ delivery personnel. Deliveries are carried out by independent delivery agents or seller-managed personnel authorized, arranged, or engaged by the seller.
Seller Dispatch and Handover Responsibility
The seller is solely responsible for preparing the order, ensuring correct packaging, deciding when the order is ready for dispatch, and handing the correct order to the correct delivery person.
Tracking displays, handover updates, and status notifications on the platform are informational only and do not mean LocalBikri has assumed control of the shipment or taken possession of the goods.
ETA, Distance, and Service Area Indicators
Any delivery timeline, average time, speed estimate, fast-delivery label, express badge, service-area indicator, free-delivery threshold, or distance-based charge shown on the platform is indicative only.
Such indicators may be based on seller settings, historical data, route assumptions, location inputs, or temporary operational conditions and do not create a guaranteed delivery commitment by LocalBikri.
Customer Address Accuracy and Availability
Customers must provide an accurate address, delivery instructions, and reachable phone number and must remain reasonably available to receive the order, share lawful verification details, or respond to delivery coordination attempts.
If the address cannot be located, the phone number is unreachable, the OTP or verification step is not completed, or entry is refused, the order may be delayed, returned, canceled, or treated as failed delivery in accordance with seller policy.
Failed Delivery, Refusal, and Return to Origin
Delivery may fail or be delayed due to traffic, weather, local restrictions, inaccurate address information, seller-side readiness issues, delivery agent availability, network issues, customer non-responsiveness, or safety concerns.
Any re-delivery attempt, return-to-origin action, restocking consequence, or cancellation after failed delivery is determined by the seller or the applicable product policy and not by LocalBikri.
Payment Collection at Handover
If payment is collected at handover, including COD or direct UPI, such collection may occur through a seller, a delivery person, or another order-specific payment workflow made available for that transaction. LocalBikri does not guarantee cash handling, change availability, QR authenticity, or payment confirmation merely because payment-related information is shown on the platform.
Any dispute regarding amount collected, counterfeit cash, fake QR code, change due, duplicate collection, non-issuance of receipt, or handover-stage payment mismatch must be taken up with the seller and any relevant payment or collection contact, subject to applicable law.
Agent Conduct, Safety Incidents, and Complaints
Any misconduct, theft, tampering, overcharging, abusive behavior, assault, harassment, OTP misuse, false delivery marking, or unlawful act by a delivery agent is the responsibility of the seller and the agent concerned, subject to applicable law.
LocalBikri may suspend access, record complaint data, or share relevant order and contact records for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, but does not become the employer, principal, or guarantor of the delivery agent.
Liability Exclusions and Force Majeure
LocalBikri acts as a coordination and tracking layer only and bears no responsibility for physical handling, storage in transit, route choice, rider conduct, failed handoff, temperature-sensitive deterioration, or delivery outcome.
LocalBikri is not liable for delay or failure caused by traffic, weather, bandh, strike, law and order events, government restrictions, outages, cyber incidents, natural events, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
