Scope and Platform Role
By placing an order through LocalBikri, the user acknowledges that LocalBikri is a technology facilitator only and is not the seller of goods and is not a party to the underlying sale transaction between customer and seller.
Platform Role in Refunds, Reversals, and Settlement
LocalBikri is not the seller and does not, merely by providing platform features, assume primary responsibility for whether a refund, cancellation, return, or replacement must be approved in relation to a sale between customer and seller.
Refunds cannot be claimed from LocalBikri solely on the basis that the order was placed through the platform. LocalBikri is not responsible for payment reversal, chargeback handling, COD recovery, failed settlement, payout delay, or payment tracing between the customer, seller, delivery agent, or any third-party payment channel, except to the limited extent expressly required by applicable law or a separately published payment-specific workflow.
Seller-Controlled Returns, Replacements, and Refund Decisions
Refunds, cancellations, returns, and replacements are governed by the individual seller’s own policy, the product category, the condition of the goods, and applicable law.
Customers must contact the relevant seller directly for any request relating to cancellation, return, exchange, replacement, shortage, damage, quality issue, wrong item, or refund.
LocalBikri does not decide whether a seller must accept a return or approve a refund unless expressly required by law.
Cancellation Requests and Order Stage
A customer may be able to submit a cancellation request through the platform only before the seller has confirmed, processed, packed, prepared, or dispatched the order, and only if such functionality is made available by the platform or the seller.
Where a cancellation request is submitted through the platform, the platform merely transmits that request. The actual acceptance, refusal, or consequences of cancellation remain with the seller.
After processing or dispatch, any cancellation request must be taken up directly with the seller.
Delivery-Time Inspection and Proof
Where available, customers should inspect the package and product at the time of handover and promptly raise any issue relating to visible damage, wrong item, open package, shortage, or mismatch.
Open-box checks, photos, signatures, OTP confirmation, delivery notes, or call records may be used by the seller or delivery personnel as evidence of handover or acceptance.
For perishable, consumable, custom, or hygiene-sensitive products, the seller’s category policy may limit return or replacement rights to the extent permitted by law.
Refund Method, Timing, and Responsibility
If a seller agrees to issue a refund, that refund must be processed through the applicable transaction path or another lawful method chosen or accepted by the seller, subject to the payment mode, operational workflow, and applicable law.
LocalBikri is not responsible for the speed, completion, proof, reversal failure, payout issue, or accounting treatment of a refund undertaken or promised by a seller, delivery agent, or third-party payment channel, except to the limited extent expressly required by applicable law.
Fraudulent or Abusive Claims
Customers and sellers must not submit false shortage claims, false non-delivery claims, manipulated photos, payment misstatements, or other fraudulent refund or return requests.
Where LocalBikri reasonably suspects abuse, fraud, collusion, repeat misuse, or unlawful conduct, it may restrict accounts, preserve records, share relevant information with affected parties or authorities, or deny further platform support.
Limited Platform Assistance and No Adjudication
LocalBikri may, at its discretion, provide limited communication support such as exposing seller contact details, basic order metadata, delivery status history, or complaint-routing tools to help parties communicate.
This support is administrative only and does not amount to mediation, adjudication, guarantee, financial liability, or enforcement of any refund or replacement outcome.
