1

Independent Seller Status

Each seller operates as an independent business entity or individual and is solely responsible for its own business conduct, products, inventory, pricing, taxes, packaging, invoices, delivery arrangements, customer handling, and regulatory compliance.

LocalBikri provides software and workflow infrastructure only and does not act as distributor, consignee, warehouse keeper, logistics operator, partner, employer, commercial agent, or co-seller of the seller.

2

Seller Information, Licenses, and Disclosures

The seller must provide accurate and up-to-date identity, business name, principal address, contact details, bank or payment collection details, grievance contact details where required, and all category-specific registrations, permits, or licenses required to lawfully sell and fulfill its products.

The seller authorizes LocalBikri to display or share such information to the extent required for compliance, fulfillment, dispute handling, platform trust and safety, or applicable law.

Where required by applicable law or platform policy, the seller must allow LocalBikri to display seller identity, geographic address, customer care details, complaint contact details, and other transaction-facing disclosures necessary for a marketplace e-commerce entity or intermediary platform.

If any license, registration, tax status, or authority to sell expires, is suspended, or is inaccurate, the seller must immediately stop listing affected products and update its records.

3

Listings, Pricing, and Product Legality

The seller is fully responsible for product quality, safety, legality, origin, title, packaging, storage conditions, pricing, discounts, stock accuracy, substitutions, expiry disclosures, labeling, and all statements made in any listing.

Products listed on LocalBikri must be lawful, genuine, fit for sale, and compliant with all applicable Indian laws relevant to the seller’s category, including consumer protection, weights and measures, food safety, tax, labeling, and any local licensing requirements.

The seller must not misstate stock, inflate prices after order placement, conceal mandatory charges, list counterfeit or stolen goods, or rely on LocalBikri’s display tools as a substitute for its own compliance review.

4

Order Acceptance, Fulfillment, and Delivery

The seller is solely responsible for deciding whether to accept an order, preparing the order correctly, ensuring dispatch readiness, arranging delivery, and completing lawful handover to the customer.

Where a delivery agent is engaged, that agent acts under the seller’s responsibility or authorization. The seller remains responsible for delivery conduct, route handling, OTP collection, payment collection, proof of delivery, failed handoff, tampering, theft, delay, misdelivery, or customer-facing delivery incidents.

Any ETA, fast-delivery tag, service radius, or availability indicator shown on the platform does not reduce the seller’s responsibility and does not shift delivery liability to LocalBikri.

5

Refunds, Returns, Complaints, and Customer Support

The seller must directly handle all refund, return, exchange, replacement, shortage, wrong-item, quality, non-delivery, and cancellation complaints in accordance with its own policy and applicable law.

If the seller accepts a refund or return, the seller alone is responsible for approving the outcome, arranging pickup or return logistics if any, and paying or remitting the refund directly to the customer.

The seller must maintain a functional customer support or grievance channel for order-related complaints and must not direct customers to LocalBikri as though LocalBikri were the seller, refund issuer, or dispute adjudicator.

6

Payments, Collections, and Settlement Responsibility

The seller is solely responsible for ensuring that every payment method, collection instruction, and settlement arrangement used for its orders is lawful, accurate, operationally sound, and properly disclosed where required.

The seller bears all risk relating to counterfeit cash, QR code misuse, chargebacks, refund reversals, change disputes, duplicate collection, payment collection by delivery personnel, payment provider disputes, tax withholding issues, failed remittance, and reconciliation failures, except to the limited extent otherwise expressly agreed in a separate written arrangement with LocalBikri.

Unless expressly agreed in a separate written billing, payout, or financial-services arrangement with LocalBikri, the seller must not assume that LocalBikri owes any settlement amount, guarantees collection, or assumes financial liability for customer payment obligations.

7

Fraud, Prohibited Practices, and Restricted Goods

The seller must not engage in fake orders, fake reviews, self-purchases, collusive ratings, order padding, off-platform coercion, phishing, abusive communication, unlawful data use, false delivery marking, OTP misuse, or any deceptive or fraudulent practice.

The seller must not list illegal, counterfeit, infringing, hazardous, prohibited, or regulated products without every approval, disclosure, and authorization required by law and by LocalBikri’s category rules.

The seller is responsible for fraud, misconduct, or unlawful acts committed by its staff, delivery agents, contractors, delegates, or persons collecting payment or handing over goods on its behalf.

8

Taxes, Invoices, and Records

The seller is solely responsible for GST and other tax compliance, invoice issuance, accounting records, statutory disclosures, recall records, and maintenance of transaction records required by applicable law.

Where a product category requires a batch number, expiry, FSSAI information, manufacturer details, MRP, or comparable statutory disclosure, the seller must ensure that the information is accurate and available to the customer as required by law.

9

Indemnity and Reimbursement

The seller agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LocalBikri and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from and against claims, complaints, refunds, losses, damages, penalties, taxes, investigations, seizures, recalls, costs, and legal expenses arising from the seller’s products, listings, pricing, taxes, delivery personnel, refund refusal, product defects, bodily injury, death, food safety issue, labeling issue, intellectual property claim, regulatory non-compliance, or customer dispute.

10

Platform Controls and Enforcement

LocalBikri may suspend, delist, restrict, investigate, request supporting documents, share relevant information with authorities, or terminate a seller account if the seller breaches these terms, generates repeated complaints, creates regulatory exposure, lists prohibited goods, or creates legal or operational risk for the platform.

Platform moderation, onboarding review, or listing visibility controls do not reduce or replace the seller’s independent legal obligations.

Seller compliance queries may be routed through support@localbikri.com or another compliance channel published by LocalBikri from time to time.
